“After 2 ½ years I am now stepping down from my position as the treasurer as I am moving on to new assignments.
The treasurer role is not a burdensome task. It is about taking care of a few payments and invoicing each month, simple and basic accounting and also keeping a close communication with the membership secretary and advertising person. During an average year the job will take up approximately 2 hours per week, maximum 10 hours per month, with a small peak before the final accounting in January.
I have prepared for a smooth and easy handover and if needed I will help the new treasurer during a transitional period.
